Effective data management is widely recognised as essential, yet significant challenges persist in its practical implementation. Important concerns and frustrations are often left unaddressed: What barriers prevent the adoption of established best practices? Are current efforts focused on the right priorities, or are solutions being developed for problems that are not relevant in practice?
The MatCHMaker Project, in collaboration with EMMC ASBL – the European Materials Modelling Council, invites the community to contribute insights on real-world data management challenges. A selected group of experts will review these contributions to help identify gaps and inform more targeted and effective solutions.
